This beautiful amigurumi bear has been on my to-do list for quite a while now. I don’t really know the reason why, but I always thought it would be challenging.
I’m thrilled I finally built up the courage to give it a go! It’s such a lovely project 🙂
The pattern from Toft Alpaca Shop was featured in Mollie Makes (issue 34).
I’m not too keen on white for toys so I used some of the leftover yarn from my mum’s blanket.
I didn’t have stitch markers… so a piece of contrasting yarn did the job perfectly well.
Stuffing was my favourite part of the process. It feels soooo soft and relaxing!
Once all the parts where finished it was time to sew them together.
I found joining a bit tricky but finally managed.
Giving my bear its mouth, nose and eyes made a huge difference… it came alive!
It even has a tiny tail 🙂
Hope you like my finished bear as much as I do 🙂
Have you tried amigurumi before? I you haven’t I strongly recommend it!
Are you a huge amigurumi fan/guru? Do you design them or get them online? Any blog/web suggestions?
