Last Christmas I decided that I would make crochet presents for my family. I guess that since I live abroad I pay more attention to small details and try to enjoy time with them back in Spain as much as I can. Making something special and unique for each of them felt like giving them a bit of me so that every time they saw it they could smile and think about how much I love them.
Here are some of the things I made:
A pink basket for my boyfriend’s sister.
A purple scarf (mesh stitch) for my cousin.
A grey scarf (treble – back loop striped stitch) for my grandad.
Coasters for my grandma (Ice Crystal motif from «Crochet Workshop» – Erika Knight)
A navy cowl (basketweave stitch) for my brother.
A coral scarf (mesh stitch) for my aunt.
A purple and blue cowl (treble – back loop striped stitch) for my brother’s girlfriend.
A camel scarf (rope stitch) for my mum.
A cream scarf (half treble stitch) for my dad.
They were really thrilled with their presents!
